Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
1. Agreement
By installing or using the Rich Text TOC Webflow app (“App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of service
Rich Text TOC is a free Hybrid App (Designer Extension and Data Client) that applies a TOC script to your site through Webflow's Custom Code API when you click Apply to site. Published site behavior depends on that registered script and your page structure (Rich Text and TOC container Element IDs).
3. Free app
The App is provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or fees charged by the developer for use of the App.
4. Using the app (workflow)
By using the App, you agree to this workflow:
- Install and open the App in the Webflow Designer.
- Authorize the App for Custom Code API access when prompted.
- Configure Rich Text source ID, TOC container ID, and heading levels.
- Use Create TOC and Apply to site as intended.
- Publish your site to show the TOC on the live site.
You are responsible for correct Element IDs on your page and for publishing after applying scripts.
5. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for content in your Webflow site and for scripts applied through the App.
- You must comply with Webflow’s terms and applicable laws when using the App.
- Heading-based TOC output requires proper heading elements (H1–H4) in your Rich Text content.
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every site configuration. Use at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
8. Intellectual property
The App is licensed under the MIT License. You retain all rights to your site content.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
